Positive Test Rate for Fentanyl & Other Drugs Spikes During Coronavirus Pandemic

A Millienium Health analysis of drug use during the COVID-19 pandemic shows the positive test rate for methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin, and especially fentanyl has increased drastically. Results of studies show a sharp increase in the use of these drugs, jumping to 3% for methamphetamine and nearly 5% for fentanyl – much higher than the pre-pandemic rates of under 1%. a
