Adolescent Outpatient Programs

Being a teen is a trying time. We know that fitting in and growing up can take up the majority of a teen’s time. One of the hardest things to deal with is peer pressure. When peer pressure is combined with other issues, it sometimes becomes too much to bear. We understand this, and we have made available several outpatient treatment options for such situations. We offer bi-weekly group sessions, individual counseling, parent education, and weekly family groups – supporting clients and their families through the ups and downs of life. The treatment programs run from 12 to 24 weeks. Testing for the absence of substances is done on a weekly basis.

  • Teen Intervention Program (TIP) – The TIP program is designed to reach adolescents before more serious problems arise. This program focuses on first time student offenders. Its goal is to assist in early intervention and treatment associated with minor drug and alcohol offenses as required by Juvenile Court. We offer this program in the hope that through education, we can show them the better life that is available to them without drugs and alcohol.
  • Teen Outpatient Program (TOP) – The TOP program is individually tailored to each adolescent’s personal needs based on assessments and, if applicable, court requirements. This is a program for adolescents that have been in trouble on more than one occasion and could benefit from a more thorough treatment program. While this program consists of group and individual counseling sessions, family groups are highly recommended.
