    July 29, 2013 | Recovery Happens 2013

The California Association of Addiction Recovery Resources(CAARR) has been responsible for the organization of Recovery Happens and the annual Recovery Happens Month Kick-Off Rally in September. Recovery Happens is the statewide campaign intended to celebrate the lives of people who are recovering from alcohol and/or drug addiction. Recovery Happens provides the perfect platform to inform Californians about the positive effects that recovery/treatment programs have upon our communities.

The rally usually brings out over 5,000 people for a day of celebration and fun! Because we desire to make this a meaningful and memorable event, a statewide planning committee is formed and meets on a monthly basis to plan and prepare the activities for this day. If you're interested in participating in the committee please contact Ken Jones at (916)338-9460 or email ken@caarr.org.
